Matt Taibbi

Matt Taibbi
An American journalist and writer born in 1970. Matt Taibbi is well known for authoring articles in Rolling Stone magazine as well as various other publications. Matt Taibbi is the son of Mike Taibbi, a reporter for NBC. Matt Taibbi has also served as a correspondent for "Real Time with Bill Maher."

Taibbi wrote a controversial article, published in Rolling Stone, in July 2009 claiming that Goldman-Sachs had engineered all of the major market manipulations since the Great Depression. He famously described Goldman Sachs as a "great vampire squid wrapped around the face of humanity, relentlessly jamming its blood funnel into anything that smells like money."
